The side in which you entered the unit. We want your stay to be smooth and enjoyable. If you need anything during your visit, you can message your co-host Sabrina directly through Airbnb. You'll also receive a check-in email with both my number and Joanna's, just in case you'd prefer to reach us by phone or text. In the event you need to call past 10pm, please call twice in a row as our phones might be on do not disturb. This is the upper unit of a legal duplex-style home, located above a separate basement suite. While the home has been soundproofed to reduce transfer between floors, we kindly ask that you be mindful of the guests below, especially during early mornings and late evenings. Your consideration helps ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. We also provide a starter supply of essentials. For longer stays, guests may need to purchase additional items as needed. This unit does not have air conditioning but we provide fans in each bedroom. We listed iron on amenities but we have a steamer for clothes instead. It is located in the room with the king bed in the closet.

We’ve had amazing guests, and almost everyone follows our rules with ease. Every once in a while, though, someone hasn’t been so thoughtful, so we’ve put these rules in place to protect both our home and our guests. We kindly ask that you treat our property as you would your own home or that of a close family member: if you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you break it, please let us know. **Guest Count & Reservation**s: As per our fire inspector, we can only host the number of guests specified in the listing this includes infants and children. All guests must be declared at the time of booking. No unstated or additional overnight guests are allowed. Having more guests than stated could result in fines from the City, and we reserve the right to end your stay if this rule is not followed. **Quiet Hours** Quiet hours are recommended between 10:00pm and 7:00am, in line with City of Calgary bylaws. This helps ensure everyone — guests and neighbors alike — can enjoy their time here. **Smoking** Absolutely no smoking of any kind is allowed inside the property. Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $1000 fine. **Pets** No cats allowed. Dogs are welcome but must be on leash when outside and cleaned up after immediately. Failure to pick up after your pet may result in a $250 fine. **Guest Verification** We may ask you to complete a quick guest verification before check in. This helps keep things safe and smooth for everyone. Thanks so much for understanding. **Longer Stays** Stays over 30 days require a simple rental agreement to be signed before arrival. This helps keep everything clear and protected for both of us.

What a great little spot for a busy weekend in Calgary! We were so close to downtown and all the amenities we needed. The space has been beautifully renovated, was spotless and the beds were SO comfortable. What a beautiful find! From the first message to the end of my stay at Joanna's, I felt at home. The unit is thoughtfully decorated and fully stocked and would be a wonderful long term stay and as perfect for my few nights in Calgary. Sabrina, the co-host was always responsive and provided clear instructions. It was a joy to connect with her and I appreciated the guide book provided upon arrival. The location is excellent for getting around Calgary without a car for both public transportation and Uber. The unit has been renovated and it's in pristine condition. Very comfortable beds which is a luxury when being away from home. Thank you to Sabrina and Joanna and I hope to return again soon!

We had a great stay for 2 nights at Joanna’s beautiful home. It was pristinely clean, nicely decorated, had comfy beds, very well stocked, and worked successfully for me travelling with my two elderly parents. Parking on the street was easy and the home is near to shopping and services. Sabrina (cohost) was proactive and contacted me after the first night to make sure all was ok. I highly recommend this spot!
